Review: Soundcore Liberty 4

Disclaimer: We weren’t paid to do this review, but Soundcore by Anker did give us the product for review. They don’t have any say in the content of this review.

We don’t do many reviews of products on our blog, but when one of our favorite brands Soundcore by Anker, reached out for us to review a pair of their Liberty 4 earbuds, we jumped at the chance. We have been fans of their computer products and think that often they revive Apple’s offering and hit that same sweet spot of smart tech that works and works the way you think it should.

After a few days of usage, we have to say that we love the Liberty 4 and have found it to be a great product and offer many similar features like Transparency Mode and Spatial Audio as Apple’s AirPods.

Pros:

  • Transparency mode!

  • You can connect to two devices at a time – I can answer calls on my softphone on my computer and my cell phone without switching headphones you

  • You can use one at a time, while the other is in case

  • Restarting when you put the earbud back in, it’s super fast

  • Wireless Charging

  • 28 hours of playtime for all-day listening

  • The 360 Spatial audio mode is great and very crisp

Could use improvement:

  • It was confusing to open. At first, we wanted to flip the product up instead of sliding it open.
