Blvck Hippie - Technicolor

Blvck Hippie's second single from their upcoming album "If You Feel Alone At Parties" reveals a darker side of Sad Boy Indie Rock. "Technicolor" begins as if through an old VHS tape left on in the background - soft and crackling, a reminder of what could've been. Shaw's aching melody brings the track into focus by catching us in the current of his mental spiral. Shaw's pain is palpable as he sings, "In tears you watched me drink until my demons appear / Keep your voice low this time I care what they hear." With "Technicolor," Blvck Hippie carves out a corner of the Indie Rock world for themselves, solidifying Sad Boy Indie Rock as a sound like no other.
