Today we're thrilled to announce the signing of self-proclaimed Sad Boy indie rockers Blvck Hippie! Lead singer Josh Shaw has always felt like a weird Black kid trying to find a place where he belongs. And now he's on his way to make his place in the Indie Rock world. After a string of engaging singles and an EP, Blvck Hippie had people not only in their hometown of Memphis but across the internet on sites like Afropunk, Wild Honey Pie, Atwood Magazine, and more, starting to take notice.
Today we are celebrating with the re-release of their buzzy single, Bunkbed, which captures Blvck Hippie's energy in all its fuzzed-out glory. Blvck Hippie will be releasing their debut full-length this summer on The Record Machine.
